35 male rta ,
1:grade 3 dai
Thalamic bleed but resolved ..
On tracheostomy
2:Aspiration pneumomia
3:UTI
ImProved for first 3 days
,stabilised on thermovent
Gcs e3vt m4
On day 4 ,high grade fevers 104-105 though as central fever and started bromocriptine .
Fever not subsiding ..became tachypnic and connected back to ventilator on
prvc fio2 30 rate 20
Tidal 440 peep 6
Tlc 8000 plt 1.4, creat 1.0
Slowly fio2 requirements increased to 60 %
Today day 8
Uti noted ,pus in urine
Fever ,uncontrolled sugars
Creat 2.7
Tlc 9200
Plt 1.36
Procalcitonin 0.48
Patient on
1: meropenem 1gm bd
2:vanco 1gm
3:clinda 600 tid
