Q. What's the purpose of these forums on ESBICM?
A. To provide a platform for discussing, sharing & clarifying the doubts faced in ICU by the health care professionals.
Q. For whom these forums are?
A. It's for any health care professional working in ICU specially doctors and nurses
Q. Are these forums FREE?
A. Yes, forever; simply register and join the community.
Q. It's only for ICU topics?
A. Though it's mainly for ICU, but we are now covering Emergency department on request (many topics are common to both the specialities).
Q. What is database gallery?
A. Its a collection of the day to day clinical signs, investigations like xrays , abgs, ecg, echo etc... in ICU. This provides exposure to everyone in the world to variety cases; this helps to learn better.
Q. Can I upload my media to the database gallery?
A. Yes. only thing you need to register on forums (its free forever). But every media uploaded by you will be reviewed by the ESBICM team before making publicly visible to all. This is an extra check mechanism to prevent spam and preserve patient privacy.
Q. Is there anything which I need to be careful on the forums?
A. Yes, the rules of the forum and maintain a healthy environment.
Q. Can I be banned for forums?
A. Usually we don't do unless the member is creating spam or violating the rules of the forums.
